Airport Rescue & Fire Fighting Driving Simulator
The 550XG-ARFF™ is a high-fidelity driving simulator developed to train Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) personnel responsible for safely operating emergency response vehicles in airfield environments. Designed to replicate the unique challenges of airport emergency operations, the simulator immerses operators in realistic scenarios involving aircraft incidents, runway emergencies, fuel spills, structural fires, adverse weather conditions, and emergency response under time-critical situations.
The simulator enables instructors to expose drivers to scenarios that are difficult, costly, or hazardous to recreate with operational apparatus, improving driver confidence, emergency preparedness, and overall response effectiveness while reducing vehicle wear, fuel consumption, and training costs. Multiple simulator units can be networked together, allowing ARFF personnel, airfield operations, and other airport vehicle operators to participate in coordinated emergency response exercises.
The 550XG-ARFF™ utilizes a 225° panoramic visual system with three 55-inch Ultra HD displays, providing exceptional situational awareness and depth perception for navigating active runways, taxiways, ramps, and airport roadways while responding to emergencies.
